The Pier at Santa Babara
The above small scale paintings were made in response to a body of black and white collaged work produced from drawings made on the beach at Santa Barbara USA, in the early summer of 2012.
The colour palette has been changed to evoke the climate of the location and the elements of sky, mountains, sea and pier have been reduced and simplified.
