These paintings are a selection of the work produced as a result of drawings made at the Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles. They reflect the process I use when creating work. This is based on a thematic continuum and so in this process the subject is being continually developed and responded to; each piece of work leading in some way to the next.
These paintings, through an expressionistic use of colour and imaginative mark making, speak not only of the unique architecture of this Concert Hall but also of the music that is produced and enjoyed within its contemporary walls.
