I spent time one evening making drawings on site of Pulteney Bridge in Bath. This fine Georgian piece of architecture is one of a small number of bridges in Europe that still support working shops on its structure.
Having made several drawings of the bridge, I continued working by making many blind drawings whilst still remaining on site. The contrast between the sighted and non sighted work is strongly marked in many ways....a fact that I find exciting and liberating.
