London Terminus 2015

London Terminus

Work developed from drawings made on King's Cross Station before its restoration.

These paintings were created by using acrylic paint on hand stretched and primed Fabriano paper.  On occasions oil bar was also used.

I have enjoyed using paint and colour to recreate both the emotional aspect of the early steam railway stations and their promise of a new age of travel, with the development and use of new skills involving iron and machine building.
