Homage to the Dome

The following work was developed from drawings made outside St Paul's Cathedral,London

This collection of paintings were made on paper
using mixed media 
They reflect a deconstruction of the subject.
Structure and space are primarily considered through imaginative mark making and colour.
 The viewer is invited to search atmosphere and essence rather than a literal interpretation of the structure and the space it owns.

Drawing With Eyes Closed

Based on the motif of the Dome these drawings have been drawn without sight,

therefore made without the influenced of critical eye. 

This permits them to be read not by the rules of critical eye but rather in a more  emotional and liberal way.
