ruined architecture
Acrylic paint and oil bar on Stretched Fabriano Paper.
At present, I am developing a series of paintings - average size 22 x 15cm. Their silent spaces symbolise the building's history and sit beside the architectural remains that exist today.
Unlike my large scale paintings, these works require more intimate viewing. They ask the viewer to get closer to the surface to read the combination of paint, marks, layering and colour.
